The town of Paoli combines a small-town feel with Main Line sophistication and a long, storied history. Paoli grew into a town around the Inn at Duffryn Mawr, which was a popular meeting place for American soldiers during the Revolutionary War. Nowadays, it boasts two of the best public schools in all of Pennsylvania and there are plenty of places to shop, eat and lodge even though the General Paoli Inn has long since turned to ash.
